Marti Burrows, CPM^®

Marti is the Head of Asset Management for Housing and Alternatives, Americas leading an in-house team of regionally focused asset managers, responsible for overseeing property operations.

Prior to joining Nuveen Real Estate, Marti was a Managing Director for Greystar, dedicated to the owned asset business helping build institutional quality operations and innovation across all product types. Marti led the creation and execution of the build-to-rent, single-family rental business vertical during her tenure at Greystar. Previously Marti was Vice President, Asset Management for the PRISA Core Open-ended Fund at Prudential Real Estate Investors focused on the multifamily sector. Marti has more than 30 years’ experience in multifamily real estate. She entered the industry in 1993.

Marti attended Transylvania University and holds her Certified Property Manager (CPM^®) designation through the Institute of Property Management (IREM). Marti is a member of the National Apartment Association Build to Rent Single Family Rental Advisory Council, a member of the NMHC Board of Directors and active industry speaker for NMHC, IMN, Zonda and Bisnow.
