Michael Mina

Michael is the Director of Asset Management and is responsible for the performance of the Nuveen Real Estate self-storage portfolio.

Prior to joining the firm in 2023, for the past decade Michael worked in alternative real estate asset classes in self-storage, senior housing, manufactured housing and RV parks. He also worked as director of asset management for StorSafe Self-Storage, where he was responsible for performance and execution of business plans, strategy, budgeting, acquisition modeling, analysis, and reporting. Michael also worked with Senior Lifestyle Corporation as a director of asset management and at Equity Lifestyle Properties as a manager of financial planning and analysis.

Michael earned a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the University of Wisconsin. He also holds a Master of Business Administration in Finance and Accounting, as well as a Master of Science in Real Estate Investment and Finance from DePaul University. He previously served on the board of the DePaul Real Estate Alumni Alliance.
