Obi Eke

Obi Eke is the Head of CLO Capital Markets and Structuring at Nuveen and is responsible for managing CLO issuance, capital markets activity and structuring for all Nuveen-managed CLOs.

Previously, Obi served as a Managing Director at Apollo Global Management where he was responsible for syndication and capital markets across all of Apollo’s asset-backed securities and CLO issuance platforms. Prior to joining Apollo, Obi was a Director and Head of the U.S. CLO Syndication Desk at BNP Paribas CIB where he managed the marketing and distribution process for all BNP Paribas’ U.S. CLOs. He also previously worked at Goldman Sachs International as an analyst in the Equity Finance Group.

Obi graduated from University of Lagos, Nigeria with a BSc. degree in Systems (Industrial) Engineering and received his MSc. in Financial Engineering from the Haas School of Business, University of California, Berkeley.
